Sammath Naur, the Hawaii
Mythopoeic Society, is a book discussion group focusing on Science Fiction
and Fantasy. Sammath Naur is affiliated with the National Mythopoeic
Society, which is dedicated to the works of Tolkein, Lewis &
Williams.
We are a small group of dreamers playing hide and seek amongst ancient
dragons and galactic specters. We gather together periodically to
discuss good books and enjoy overindulgent potluck dinners.
Meetings are held at various homes around Oahu usually on the third
Saturday of the month starting sometime between 4 and 5 pm
(though some months we meet not at all and other months an alternate
